For example, if you\u2019re initiating an NEFT transaction for the first time, it may take up to two hours because the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) may take up to 30 minutes to verify the beneficiary\u2019s account.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the NEFT transaction is initiated after banking hours, the payment will be initiated using the Straight Through Process (STP) mode.
